  • Miriam Barchi:

    Owner/General Manager/Sommelier

    Miriam, a native of Florence, Italy, grew up immersed in the world of restaurants, working alongside her parents at La Tavalozza. After relocating to the U.S. in 1988, she and her ex-husband opened a restaurant in Yountville, CA, inspired by her family's Italian eatery. Following its sale, Miriam enjoyed a 23-year tenure as a Captain and Sommelier at Auberge Du Soleil in Napa Valley, with additional roles at Mastro’s in San Francisco and Charlie Palmer in Napa. In 2021, she and her partner Todd settled in Southern Oregon to be close to their family. They initially operated Decant with their daughter Jessica before seizing the opportunity to open the restaurant at Jacksonville Inn.

  • Todd Meyerhoffer

    Owner/Executive Chef       

    Todd was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. He developed his passion for food while traveling through Europe, Asia and attending high school in Australia. He got his bachelor’s degree in finance from MSU before going on to graduate with Honors for the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He Moved to the Napa Valley and to be the Executive Sous Chef at Auberge du Soleil, where he met Miriam in 2004. He fell in love with her passion for life and family. He later became the Executive Chef of CIA’s Grey Stone in St. Helena, CA and Copia in Napa,CA before moving to Southern Oregon in 2021.

    A family steeped in the love of food and wine, Miriam, her daughter Irina, and granddaughter Daniella have each left their unique mark on the culinary world. Irina's journey from a vineyard in Calistoga, California, to Southern Oregon is a testament to her commitment to the industry. With her husband Randy and their children, Daniella and David, by her side, she's brought her passion for wine and hospitality to Capers, Troon Vineyards, EdenVale Winery, Belle Fiore Winery, and even real estate. Now, Daniella, the pride and joy of her grandparents, leads the way as the restaurant's Head Hostess, following in the footsteps of her culinary-loving family.
